This thematic cluster invites critical reflections on the theory and practice of digital methods in Latin American contexts. Rooted in social sciences and humanities, digital methods leverage natively digital tools and data to analyze phenomena—from social movements to cultural narratives. We seek contributions that contextualize these methods within the region’s unique socio-material realities, addressing gaps in Anglo-centric scholarship and advancing decolonial, Southern perspectives.
