CFP: Encyclopedia of the Anthropocene – Springer

Call for contributions for the Encyclopedia of the Anthropocene, a major project published by Springer-Nature. Led by Nathanaël Wallenhorst and Christoph Wulf, this initiative aims to offer a comprehensive overview of the Anthropocene from diverse perspectives, emphasizing the intersection of biogeophysical and socio-political knowledge.

The encyclopedia welcomes contributions that highlight areas, issues, and authors from the Global South, particularly focusing on energy-related topics. It seeks to articulate a pluriversal (multi-diverse) understanding of the Anthropocene, emphasizing sustainability and diversity, both locally and globally.

Contributors are invited to submit proposals by June 10 to adziebowski@unistra.fr and phamman@unistra.fr, including a brief title, summary of thoughts, disciplinary framework, academic affiliations, and relevant publications. Accepted contributors will receive further information on the next steps.
